This coffee is very special, an absolute fruit bomb!
The cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and brought to the Gargari Gutiti washing station which is notable for its highly strict and uncompromising standards. The small farmers in this region grow their coffee in small garden plots around their homes interlocked with papaya, enset and avocado.
The anaerobic process involves fermenting the coffee cherries in airtight drums, leading to the production of unique and complex flavours due to the metabolic activities of the yeast and bacteria involved in the fermentation process.
