Coffee Festivals, Vogue, GQ & Bond

Coffee Festivals

October was very much the month for coffee festivals in Scotland.  Luckie Beans exhibited at both the Edinburgh & Glasgow coffee festivals.  Taking along our Hario Syphons and Beam Heaters, we attracted quite a crowd.  All of our coffees were available by the cup.  It was so nice to meet so many people who liked the Luckie Beans brand, but more importantly loved the coffee!

The Very First UK Coffee Roasting Championship

We were very fortunate to be involved in the first ever UK Coffee Roasting Championship.  Held over a 3 day period, starting in Edinburgh and finishing in Glasgow, it was a memorable experience.  The only Scot in the competition, it's safe to say Jamie is number one in Scotland :)

Back in Vogue with a Bond Girl

We were back in Vogue again, but this time with a Bond Girl!  Showing off our Love Lane House Blend, and Malawi AAA with the V60 ceramic dripper and pot set.

First time in GQ

GQ have been showcasing Luckie Beans!  We're looking forward to viewing the new Bond film Spectre.  What about you?

Edinburgh Coffee Festival, Vogue, and raising money for Prostate Cancer

The Distinguished Gentleman's Bike Ride

We took part in this years bike ride raising money for Prostate Cancer, dressed as a distinguished gentleman and riding a Norton Commando 850.  The Scottish rides have raised over £14600.  Luckie Beans managed to raise £100 toward this good cause.  Thanks to all who sponsored us.

Luckie Beans Featured in Vogue Magazine

We were over the moon to see Luckie Beans featured within 'Vogue's Most Wanted' during the October edition.  On show are our Cerro Azul, Rwanda Impala, and Kenya New Irera Peaberry.  Look out for us in next months Vogue and GQ magazines too.

Edinburgh's First Ever Coffee Festival

If you are looking for something to do on Saturday 3rd October, come along to Edinburgh's first ever coffee festival at the Mansfield Traquair.  We will be showcasing our stunning single origins and our very moreish Love Lane house blend.  We will be making coffee using our theatrical Hario halogen beam heater and syphons!  Samples will be available along with coffee to buy and bags of coffee to enjoy at home.
